The 72-Acre campus is located in the heart of Bangor, adjacent to the Hogan Road exit off Interstate 95. The campus is served by public transportation. Campus facilities include four buildings which house classroom, lab, and shop spaces; one residence hall with a second under constuction; Johnston Gymnasium; and The Campus Center, a focal point of campus activities including the Enrollment Center, library, classrooms, and the dining commons.
Eastern Maine Community College offers a total of 27 program options, with one-year certificates, two-year diplomas and Associates Degrees. EMCC prepares technicians and skilled workers for careers in mechanical, engineering and construction industries; allied health professionals; and business occupations. Programs of study are developed in cooperation with experts currently working in representative areas of technology. Short term and specialized training and re-training courses are also available to business, industry and community.
Approximate enrollment is five hundred seventy five full-time and seven hundred fifty part-time students, with 55 full-time and 119 adjunct faculty. |
