Students at Concordia are inspired to change — and be changed by — the world. The students benefit from an academically challenging, yet welcoming and supportive learning environment. Faculty help students discover their potential, pushing them to achieve beyond what they imagine is possible.
Concordia is a vibrant learning community of more than 2,800 students, where student engagement goes well beyond the classroom. Here, students frequently join faculty in side-by-side research. The students also perform in world-class music ensembles, compete on championship-caliber sports or speech and debate teams, and make their mark in theatre, student government, or more than 90 other student clubs or organizations.
Campus ministry offers many ways to get involved. Students explore and express their faith through contemporary, student-led worship services, Bible studies and a variety of outreach opportunities including Justice Journeys and one of the largest collegiate chapters of Habitat for Humanity.
The newly opened Knutson Campus Center is a great place to study, hang out with friends and savor a healthy assortment of tasty choices in the inviting dining space.
Concordia College offers two types of scholarships – financial need-based scholarships and merit-based scholarships. Renewal of the need-based awards is dependent on continued financial need and academic achievement. The merit-based scholarships include the Full-Tuition Scholarship, the Presidential Distinction Scholarship, the Music Scholarship and many others.
At Concordia, the world is your classroom. Their globally focused curriculum integrates their academic offerings with one of the best study abroad programs in the country, giving you an understanding of language, culture and history that will help make you a confident and responsible global citizen.
Whether you want to make a difference by studying medicine or law, building sustainable communities or ethical businesses, or creating works of music or art, Concordia’s 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, will get you on your way.
They also offer 12 preprofessional programs in fields such as medicine, law, engineering, and dentistry that will give you a jump on graduate school. Concordia graduates get into medical school at a rate twice the national average, and 93 percent of their applicants get into law school. |
