UdL combines a long and fruitful tradition of university with a young and dynamic structure that makes a strong commitment to training and quality research, advanced teaching methods and some for the internationalization.

The mission of the University of Lleida is the generation, dissemination and application of knowledge. These teaching-learning activities are conducted face to face, virtual and blended learning, using modern, well equipped and functional areas of the university campus, virtual campus SAKAI and the last Wi-Fi technology. The Library and Documentation Service, accredited with the certificate of quality library services for the duck and the Resource Centre for Learning and Research (CRAI) made available to the university community an extensive catalog of files, magazines resources to complement and support teaching, teaching and research.

The UDL is characterized by innovative training focused on achieving the objectives of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). STRUCTURE OF UNIVERSITY STUDIES
Further studies are structured in two levels: the degree and postgraduate. Within the graduate can distinguish the university master and doctorate. HISTORY AND TRADITION
The origins of the University of Lleida is located in the old General Survey, created on 1 September 1300 by founding the privilege granted by King James II at the request of municipal bodies.
