Descrizione dell'università (origine: sito web ufficiale dell'università)

Eureka College was founded in 1855 by anti-slavery activists affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Eureka maintains its church affiliation today, while welcoming students of all backgrounds and faiths.

Enrollment is just under 760 students. While most are from Illinois, the students also come from states coast to coast and from several other countries.

Eureka offers more than 50 majors, pre-professional programs, and other programs of study.
At Eureka you may select your major or program from a field of over 30 different areas of study and may work toward a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BS). The academic programs are flexible enough to allow you to pursue the exact area of your major or a general program that will lead you to your career goals. Most Eureka College academic majors require from eight to twelve courses in the major field.

Eureka's tree-lined campus has 112 acres with 24 buildings, including two featured on the National Register of Historic Places.
Eureka, Illinois is a peaceful residential community of 5,000 located centrally between Peoria and Bloomington/Normal. It is only 20 minutes to each. Chicago is only two hours away and St. Louis three hours.

FINANCIAL -aid

Eureka administers millions of dollars of financial assistance every year, including scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study awards (campus jobs). Most of the students - 90% - qualify for financial aid.
