About the Colorado School of Trades Gunsmithing Training
Gunsmithing is a trade the Colorado School of Trades has been teaching students since 1947. It involves intricate work in fashioning gun parts; customizing and accurizing firearms; and operating lathes and mills.
In any craft, it is very important to know and fully understand what you are working with. The Colorado School of Trades is an experienced trade college that can teach you about the inner workings of a gun and how each piece is vital to its correct operation. Our knowledgeable instructors balance hands-on training with guided teaching in order to give you a complete gunsmithing course.
Throughout our in-depth course, you will be taught how to operate the machinery and tools correctly and efficiently in addition to all aspects of gun repair and customization. Imagine: in just over one year, you could be prepared to become a self-employed gunsmith.
