College of New Rochelle was founded by the Order of St. Ursula in 1904 and was the first Catholic college for women in New York State.

The School of Arts & Sciences has been traditionally comprised of an all-women student body since it's founding in 1904. The three other schools, the School of Nursing, the School of New Resources, and the Graduate School are all co-educational.

THE COLLEGE OF NEW ROCHELLE recognizes superior academic achievement through a variety of scholarships. Based on grades, rank in class, SAT scores** and extracurricular activities, academic scholarships, range from $500 to full tuition. The College also offers awards to students who have contributed their time and energy to community and volunteer service, as well as other school-related activities.
You don't need to fill out any additional forms to be considered for scholarships or awards, because all students applying for admission are considered. Recipients are notified shortly after their acceptance. |
